A great life is made up of lots of great days. With that in mind, I’ve been thinking about the idea of a daily obituary. What would someone (me, in this case) say about my day? Did I accomplish what I set out to? Did I live life to the fullest? Do I feel good about my day? Here goes for today:
Daily Obituary, July 26, 2024
Today I spent a large chunk of time outside. I played 18 holes of golf with one of my friends and a third person who got paired with us. The other guy was cool, and my friend got a hole in one – his first ever! I’m so happy for him, and I’m glad I was there to witness it. I shot 100, not my best, not my worst. When I got home, I spent time doing yard work with my wife, called my mom, made dinner, and then watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. All in all, a pretty damn good day. I’d say…8/10
I hope tomorrow is better.
